Board of Education members are not charged with “administering” the schools, but rather with ensuring that they are well run. In their capacity as current Board of Education trustees, Grano, Miller, and McKernan have voted to support the efforts of the superintendent and the administration with the best interest of all Sparta‘s students at the forefront.

They seek to represent the interests of the community and to serve as communicators between the community and the school district. It is also paramount that Board of Education members are willing and able to listen to all citizens.

Experienced. Consistent. Dedicated.

All three candidates feel strongly about providing consistency to the Sparta Board of Education, and are therefore running for the three, 3-year seats. Grano, Miller, and McKernan feel dedicated to their roles as Board of Education trustees and take their roles very seriously.

MEET THE CANDIDATES

This slate of candidates takes a moderate, measured, and informed approach in their capacity as members of the Sparta Board of Education, and their voting records are consistent with this approach.
